Strontium Ferrite Powder
Ceramic permanent magnet powder based on the customer's required grade
The base of permanent ceramic magnets
Strontium ferrite powder is the primary raw material for manufacturing permanent ceramic magnets. Because of their high resistance to demagnetization, rust, and oxidation — combined with low cost — these magnets have the widest application in the electrical and automation industries.
Our production process
Strontium ferrite powder production is a multi-stage process in which precision at each stage determines the final grade:
- Raw material preparation — combining strontium carbonate and iron oxide in a precise stoichiometric ratio
- Calcinating (primary sintering) — solid-state reaction at high temperature to form the hexa-ferrite phase
- Milling — reducing particle size to the micron range to control magnetic properties
- Final pressing and sintering — shaping and densifying the part
Why strontium ferrite?
Strontium ferrites have higher magnetic energy than barium ferrites and are more stable at higher temperatures. These characteristics make them suitable for industrial applications and high-speed motors.
